We understand choosing a school for your child is a very important decision and we will do everything we can to help you with that process.
Admission into the various unit, of the school is through the open competitive entrance/interview examinations which are administered at the end of every academic session.
The school admits students that have graduated from the nursery into the primary; primary five or six into the secondary and J.S.S 3 into senior secondary stream.
Age: Nursery (3-5years) Primary (6-11 years) Secondary 11 and above.

For transfer students into JS 2 & SS 1:
They will be tested in the following areas:
- English
- Mathematics
- Basic Science
- Testimonial from the previous school will be required.

Entry into JS1:
a. The candidate must be 10 years old by the month of the admission exercise
b. The candidate must have completed grade 11 or Pry 6 or Pry 5 from his/her previous school.
c. The JS 1 applicants will be tested in the following areas:
- Mathematics / Quantitative Aptitudes
- English / Verbal Aptitudes
- General Paper
- Testimonial from the previous school will be required
Admission into Ogunbor Nursery and Primary School is secured by purchasing and filling out application forms which are obtained from the Administrative building. This is done once in an academic year between the months of July and September of every year.
Placement tests are conducted only for students who are seeking admissions into Primary two to six classes
AGE CONSIDERATIONS:
They will be tested in the following areas:

- KINDERGARTEN – 5 YEARS
PRIMARY CLASSES
- JUNIOR PRIMARY – 6 – 8 YEARS

A child is considered for admission at the purchase of an application form. Class placement is strictly and primarily by age and then performance on an administered test. By September of a new academic year, a child must fall under one of the following age categories
Secondary Requirements
The following are general admission requirements for Ogunbor School:
- Obtain the application forms from the administrative building
- Complete the form and attach the under listed materials
- 2 Passport Photographs
- 1 Photocopy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of Student’s Most Recent Report Card
Scholarship (tuition free) may be awarded to the students who distinguish themselves in academic, sports and other events as may be determined by management.
In addition, a special scheme know an 4- from-1 parent enables ones child to enjoy a tuition free scholarship, if there are four or more children from one parent in the school.
The best graduating student in a particular year and is able to secure admission through JAMB into any of the federal universities I the same year of graduation enjoys tuition/Books scholarship throughout the duration of the course – courtesy the school proprietor.
The fees and levies which are moderate and affordable are determined from time to time by the management of the school in consultation with the parents.
The fees for each term are payable on or before the first day of the term for which they are due. A two (2) week of grace may be given on parent’s application; failure to pay the fees as they fall due can result in the school refusing to allow the students to continue in the school until such time as the fees are paid.
The center is designed to provide continuous academic and personal support to the students’ population as well as willing members of the public. The counselor at the centre has considerable amount of training in counseling techniques.
Because of the delicate nature of issues discussed in the counseling session, every matter discussed remain confidential, area of counseling includes;
- Group and individual counseling
- Education and vocational guidance
- Assistance with reading and study problems
- Assistance with emotional and personal problems.
A distinctive uniform has been prescribed by the school. The uniform therefore can only be purchased from the school tailoring section at a very reasonable price on admission.
The school uniform colors are milk (off white) top and brown skirt or trousers.
There are also pair of brown sandals, beret, jacket and cardigans.
House wears and Sunday wears are brown check and all white top/botton respectively.
The sports wears are in various colors depending on the school house a child in assigned.
While the school provides all the relevant text books for the Nursery/Primary students on the payment of a moderate price, students in the secondary are required to purchase all notebooks, text books and writing materials from the school bookshop.
To apply online, fill the online application form. After you have completed the form successfully, an entrance exam slip will be generated which the candidate should bring along to the school whenever he/she is coming for the entrance exam together with the payment teller (for cash payments). A copy of the form you have filled will be sent to the email address you provided as well as the entrance examination slip just in-case you did not get to print it in the first instance.Download Form
